1. Place the cuff of the blood pressure monitor around your upper arm, positioned approximately 2-3 cm (about 1 inch) above the elbow joint.
Ensure that the cuff fits snugly but not too tightly. You should be able to easily insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.
2. Rest your left arm (or right arm, depending on personal preference) on a flat surface, positioning it at the same level as your heart.
3. Choose a comfortable seated position with your back straight and both feet flat on the floor.
