Before using the wheelchair, make sure that the lock is securely fastened. When sitting in the wheelchair, please fasten the safety belt and place your hips as close to the backrest as possible. Slow down when turning or moving on a slope. When going up steps, the caregiver should step on the lower rear crossbar of the wheelchair and press down on the push handles to lift the front wheels onto the step. When the rear wheels cross the obstacle, pull up the push handles to assist. When getting on or off the wheelchair, make sure it is stable and the brakes are engaged. Fold up the footrests, and the user should hold the armrests and get on or off slowly. Do not step on the footrests to get on or off the wheelchair, as this may cause it to tip forward and lead to a fall. Do not force the wheelchair up steps, as this may cause tipping or other dangers. Always apply the brakes when stopping to prevent rolling or other safety hazards.
